Sticktime
Community guidelines
Guidelines for sharing spots, knowledge and FPV content responsibly.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Participate with respect
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate or target people. Hate speech, sexual exploitation, credible threats and content encouraging violence are not permitted.
2. Share spots responsibly
- Only share a location when doing so is lawful and reasonably safe.
- Do not encourage trespass, dangerous flight, interference with emergency activity or violation of local aviation rules.
- Do not publish private residential addresses or sensitive coordinates.
- Consider wildlife, conservation, property owners, bystanders and other site users.
- Spot information is community-supplied and may be incomplete or outdated; pilots remain responsible for assessing conditions and applicable rules.
3. Post content you have the right to share
Only upload images, text and links that you are authorized to share. Give useful context, avoid deceptive edits and do not use Sticktime to distribute malware, scams, spam or unlawful material.
4. Protect privacy
Do not expose another person’s private information, precise home location, contact details or identifying information without permission. Be especially careful when media includes bystanders, licence plates or private property.
5. Keep discovery useful
Use accurate titles and categories where available. Avoid duplicate spots, coordinated vote manipulation, fake engagement and misleading reports. External video links should be relevant to the surrounding contribution.
6. Reports and moderation
Users may report spots, posts, comments or accounts. Reports should identify the issue without being used to intimidate or silence others. Moderation may include limiting distribution, removing content, issuing warnings, restricting features or suspending accounts, depending on context and severity.
Content deletion and account action may also occur when necessary to address safety, legal requests or repeated guideline violations. A support channel will be available for questions and appeals.
7. Appeals and urgent concerns
Questions about moderation decisions can be sent to support. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service; Sticktime support is not an emergency-response channel.
